TRAINING AND COMMUNITY ACTIVITIES
Dr. Dee received his undergraduate education from Stanford University, graduating Summa cum laude. He then attended USC Medical School where he was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society, representing the top 10% of medical school graduates. He finished his Orthopaedic Surgery training at UC Irvine Medical Center, serving as Chief Resident his final year. His specialty Fellowship training in Sports Medicine and Shoulder/Knee Arthroscopic Reconstruction, took place at Orthopaedic Specialty Institute in Orange, California, and at the Lake Tahoe Orthopaedic Institute in South Lake Tahoe, California. He is Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery and has an additional Subspecialty Certificate in Orthopedic Sports Medicine.
Dr. Dee is currently the Los Alamitos High School Football Team Doctor and Athletic Department Consultant and Team Physician at Cypress College Dept of Athletics. His care of athletes has included Team Physician responsibilities with the US Ski/Snowboarding team, Long Beach Jam Professional Basketball, National Women's Football Association, Long Beach Ice Dogs Professional Hockey, Cal State Fullerton, UC Irvine, Chapman College, and Mater Dei high schools.
His interests include snow skiing and boarding, golf, mountain biking, hockey, fly fishing, and kite surfing. He lives locally with his wife and children.
