Common Shoulder Conditions Treated by Dr. Dee

  • Osteoarthritis- This is where there is a loss of cartilage in the joints. The breaking cartilage thickens the bones causing pain and stiffness. In severe cases, where non-surgical shoulder treatments are not effective, surgeries may be performed.
  • Shoulder fractures- fractures in the shoulder commonly involve the clavicle (collarbone), humerus (upper arm bone) or the scapula (shoulder blade). Fractures will often cause severe pain, swelling, and bruising in the shoulder area. Treatment should be sought out immediately.
